Cherry (Cherryblossom) was born in New York, but fell in love with history, architecture, and the art of salvage in Bradford, Pennsylvania, where she was raised. In 1995, she moved to Philadelphia, the city richest in all of these things and more. For Cherry, the joy of homemaking is not just in furnishing and decor, but the bricks and mortar that tie everything together. Given the choice between replacing or restoring an old, worn set of windows, she would take the opportunity to lovingly restore them.
During her successful 20-year career in the service industry with its top innovators (ever heard of Stephen Starr, or Buddakan?) Cherry honed her service skills and began buying homes most would consider beyond restoration to breathe new life into them before resale. After purchasing her first very own home, a historic, gothic Victorian in Germantown sold as a short sale, Cherry got her real estate license in 2011. One thing led to another and now, anyone can benefit from her professional advice with an eye for design and service of a quality that only comes with experience.
With Cherry, you will get to learn the stories etched into the bricks and mortar of your future home and how to tastefully add your own chapter. You’ll also learn how to preserve your piece of history before passing it onto the next lucky owner.
